Manuscript logbook written in several hands and signed by officers, including John J. Glasson. The entries of the logbook date from February 23 to August 27 of 1847, and document the Falcon's participation in the siege of Vera Cruz as well as the ship's subsequent operations. The U.S. Schooner Falcon, originally the Mexican gunboat Isabel, was captured at the Port of Tampico, Mexico, on November 14, 1846.
